A lecture by Sonja Turner
116 five year olds from Cornwall Hill Primary School attended a lecture by Sonja Turner ( radiographer) and “Mr Bones” at our Intercare Irene branch in Centurion
Some very clever questions were raised about “Why Mommy’s back is always sore? and “Why our bones don’t die when we do and can be dug up years later?”
Sonja carefully explained all the bones and what x-rays are and, afterwards each child received a goodie bag with a water bottle and pens.
An exciting outing for the children as well as for our awesome Radiographer who took the time to chat to them.
